Thank you so much, everyone! I’m sorry it took so long to answer, but to say I’ve been swamped is an understatement!
@Chris: The lighting on the fire dancer is an interesting little story: There were maybe a dozen photographers all around this man, and many of them were using flash. Their flash interfered with the exposures I was trying to get, since we were all shooting at the same time, so I thought “if you can’t fight ‘em, join ‘em.” I set a slow exposure (using a tripod and cable release) and when this picture was taken, the bursts of light from the others’ flashes showed up in my pictures, lighting the grass and side-lighting the man’s frame beautifully. The same thing happened with the 2nd picture of this man, but I cropped the grass out of that frame.
